In the late 1970's, John Carpenter created a slasher Masterpiece with his film: "Halloween". A surprise horror hit, Halloween soon turned into one of the most classic horror flicks of all time. The story revolves around Micheal Myers, an escaped mental patient out to find his sister, Lori, and dispose of her appearently. The movie spawned many sequels, and practically all the slasher clones out there... here is-Halloween...

Summary and Reviews:

Halloween introduces Micheal Myers, and let loose his rampage on Haddonfield, Illinois. Having recently escaped from a mental institution, he seeks his sister Lori Strode. A rampage of death and carnage insues, as Micheal makes his way to his sister, with the wity Dr. Loomis on his trail. No one will forget...The Night HE Came Home.

Halloween is a true Slasher classic, seeing that it introduced the whole idea on the public. You need to see this movie if any to get you started in the whole slasher deal. Defiently 5 of 5 stars.

Halloween 2 takes place on the same night as the first. Believing Micheal is dead, Loomis takes Lori to the local hospital for treatment. But soon realizes Myer's body has disappeared. Now, back on his trail, Loomis must stop the evil of "Samhain" once and for all.

Part 2 is basically the same idea, but the concept is a little different. It adds to the series and keeps you asking for more. 4 of 5 stars.

Ahhh, where to start. Halloween 3 has nothing to do with the whole Micheal Myers storyline, and tells a tail of these killer masks, who once worn, causes the user to die. Something about a piece of Stonehedge causes these masks their evil, and a diabolical doctor releases them on Halloween night.

This movie would be, hmmm, ok had it not been titled Halloween 3. But for the pure fact that it is, it only gets 1 of 5 stars.

It turns out Micheal's not dead! But he's under intensive care at a secret hospital. It's been exactly 10 years since his first frightful return, and now he's back for more. He soon escapes once again, and seeing that his sister Lori is supposedly dead, he goes after her only known child for revenge!

Halloween 4 acctually was a good follow-up to where we left off at part 2. The story made sense somewhat, the acting wasn't cheesy, and the death scenes were interesting. 4 of 5 stars.

The Revenge of Micheal Myers see's Micheal has survived his fall down a storage drain, and has made his way up-river. An old hermit has been taking care of him, and he's has waited a good year for this night once again...Halloween! Since his body wasn't recovered, the town of Haddonfield is ready this time!

Part 5 is basically part 4, with Micheal going after his Niece again. There's some interesting death scenes, and of course Micheal at his best. This gets 3 of 5 stars.

Halloween 6 really interested me. Tommy Doyle, now all grown up since the first Halloween, has studied the Myer's Case and knows he's comming back. He and Dr. Loomis team up to find the secrets, and dispose of Micheal for good.

Halloween 6 surprised me on how interesting it really was. Since this was the only Halloween I caught at the theatres, it gets an upper hand. Almost 5 of 5 stars.

H20 (standing for Halloween 20 years later) Has Lori Strode, now renamed and moved away, at a private school where her son attends. Unknowingly, Myer's has survived after 20 years, and has come back for the final confrontation.

Well, it is a Halloween movie, and it does have Jamie Lee Curtis back as Lori..so it can't be that bad, right? Wrong. H20 is seriously a mistake. It's not interesting in the least, and should have never happened. Beats part 3 with 2 of 5 stars only because of Micheal.
