Sure, Slasher flicks are quite enjoyable. But so are alot of other horror movies. I don't single out Slashers, although I do like them the best. This page is a some what tribute to other movies that didn't make the Slasher list, but defiently make the cut. Check 'em out and see if you enjoy them as well...
Ahh, the other Camp slasher flick. Move over Jason, there's a new bitch in town. Sleepaway camp pokes fun at Slasher flicks yet manages to have some grusome effects as well. A definete addition to any horror collection. Also has sequels SleepAway Camp II and III. I believe a part 4 was in the making somewhere around 1992, but something happened to it.
Don't say his name 5 times! Clive Barker brings you his slasher, Candyman. A man once tortured for his relations with a white plantation female, soon is awoken to act revenge. His hand severed, he now has a hook in place, to terrorize those who beckon him. Followed by CandyMan 2 and 3.
Cemetary Man is too wild to tell you about. It's a zombie flick, but it's damn hilarious. It's real title is DellaMorte-Dellamore, translated to English as Cemetary Man. I worth-while movie. Check it.
So the first one was good, but what's not to love about continuous sequels that have no meaning in the film industry? I don't think i've seen them all, Part 2 was ok, but I suggest we all watch 'em for the hell of it!
Oh yes, Creepshow. You know as a kid you watched it, probably scared the be-jezus outta you. Well it's here, and if you haven't seen it, pick it up. It's select spooky tales from Stephen King and George Romero. Quite entertaining. There's also CreepShow 2 which I believe is better than the first.
This is George Romero's TRUE classic series, the Living Dead series. I hope I don't have to explain it all...Night of the Living Dead is obvious, the Dead rise, and terrorize a small farm house. Dawn of the Dead takes place after, where people try to cope with the living dead amoungst them. Day finalizes the series, and you'll be screaming for more...a MUST see Series.
The other Creepshow, Tales from the Crypt was a huge success. The first movie, Demon Knight, is the exact title, Demons try to regain control of earth, and a group of unlucky people get to combat them...great flick. Bordello, well, it's the second Crypt movie, but it's more of just a tittie flick. It's got some ok points but nothing too great...See 'em if you'd like!
Critters!?! What the hell is Critters doing here?! To tell you the truth, I don't even really know. I came across it online one day and said "Hey, this shit was hilarious!" We all saw Critters 1 and 2, the others, probably not, but now's your wake up call to go out and rent 'em! Just for the sheer hell of it!
If you haven't seen this shit, you have to get up and go right now. Hellraiser is a Horror Masterpiece to say the LEAST. A mysterious box opens a gateway to another demension, and these beings called "Cenobites" are released, granting any wish, or making you pay the ultimate price. I don't want to spoil this series for you, so go see them quickly!!!
One of my favorite series of all time! Evil Dead is a tale of the Book of the Dead, when summoned they are released upon the earth, and need to be stopped. Who's the man for the Job? Ash Williams of course! All three follow his ill-fated adventures against evil, and are a SURE bet to entertain you the whole way through!
Dead-Alive is a modern zombie masterpiece. It's the most hilarious horror movie i've seen, and it could be yours too if you check it out. The gore, the special effects and death scenes are unmatched! Ask for this one!

Phantasm is an Odd series about this mysterious "Tall Man" and his floating orbs. He seems to travel the country and exsumes bodies from graves. Using his powers he turns the bodies into his army of undead beings. A group of people who were taken hostage by the Tall Man now rebel and try to find the secrets to end the Phantasm! A fresh idea from tired horror.
